Pearl PC314HH Standard 14 inch Hi-Hats

These are not the greastest sounding cymbals in the world, but for the price you're probably not going to find another pair of 14" hats new. If you live in or near a big city you could probably find a decent set of used Ziildjians or Sabians or other quality cymbals for not too much more, but the beginner starting out in a rural area much have more of a problem.

These cymbals are supplied (along with a 16" crash) with Pearl's Rhythm Traveler set, and a lot of drummers- like me- sell these off cheap and replace them with better cymbals. If you'e really poverty stricken, you may just be able to pick up a set of these really cheaply.
