Great feelI play with 7A sticks, but practice with these because the added weight allows me to work on my left hand with strengthening exercises.
Because I practice a minimum of two hours a day, and often four, the grooved, cushioned grip reduces fatigue as well as lets me play long practice sessions without worrying about slip.
These sticks are exceptionally well balanced, and the tips give excellent bounce on heads and cymbal defintion. During practice I can get the sound I want, so when I switch to 'real' playing with lighter, thinner sticks I can fly around my hit and do 16th notes with ease.
This is a great practice stick for any drummer who uses thinner and lighter sticks, and is an extremely comfortable and balanced gig stick for drummers who use 5A.
