This shortened mallet can be easier to use for young children or people with limited movement. The tough PVC shaft is very durable, with an extra-thick vinyl grip for easy handling. This mallet is designed exclusively for use with bass or contrabass resonator bars and generates a deep, soft, legato sound. Features light blue yarn wrapped over a 2" sponge ball.
