These things are great! I have 3, mounted on my wall. They say they are for use on stage; to mount on your amp or rack. I actually mounted them into my wall and they work perfectly. They hold the guitars securely and do not leave a mark. The 'fork' that holds the guitar has a rubber grip on it so it won't damage your guitar, and it hangs them straight, so it won'g warp your neck. There were only 2 complaints of mine. First, I have an acoustic, and it is not one of those really skinny ones by Ibanez and the like, it is quite large actually. It hangs fairly close to the wall, closer than I would like. Only a personal problem really...I can remove it without hitting the guitar on the wall, just a little difficult the first few times. My other complaint is that when I hang my electric guitars the high string tends to catch on the rubber grip, and although it is a rubber grip, it grabs quite well. I have a fear of hanging it and catching too hard, snapping the high string. Other than these 2 problems, they work perfectly!!
