Adds a nice touch but...I put these on an Ibanez electric acoustic with a flamed top finish. They look a lot better than the cheap, white plastic bridge pins that the guitar came with but I can't really say they added much to the sound of the guitar. I'd give them a little credit for MAYBE adding some sustain but overall they are more of a cosmetic upgrade, which I am happy with. They do add quite a bit of class and distinction to the looks of the guitar.
