Product Description
The Fishman Prefix Stereo Blender uses exactly the same side-mount hole as the Fishman Prefix and Fishman Prefix Plus (an obvious upgrade path by design) but it adds an onboard microphone to the preamp chassis inside your guitar. The preamp then blends this mic with the standard Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup. This two-pickup blended system is the industry standard, and by far the most common factory-installed onboard blender. The feature set on this unit is virtually identical to that of the Prefix Plus--bass, treble, and contour EQ controls, notch filter, phase switch, etc--but the Blender foregoes the Brilliance slider to make room for a Blend control. This slider lets you choose whether to emphasize more undersaddle pickup in your mix, or more microphone.
