I tested this band, using it on a cheap China made violin at a music store, and on the proper AMP is absolutely phenominal! The sound that was transmitted just blew me away! I cannot say enough about this product to give it proper credit! It is easy to put on your violin and it plays much better than an electric violin. The cost savings is that you don't have to buy another violin. It connects to any standard cable hookup. I don't know what the longevity of this band is, but however long it lasts will add to your overall enjoyment of playing violin. I am very disappionted that it is not available at Amazon, but if it ever is and you want one, don't think twice, get it!
