Reviews
Sounds like a real pianoThe good:
Digitized piano sound. Sounds exactly like a real piano.
76 notes allow you to play most classical sheets.
Amazing deal by far if you can't afford a real piano.
The bad:
Speakers too small.
Education suite confusing.
Sensitivity of the keyboard not like a piano at all (of course).
Guitar and all other instruments not very realistic.
The "Recylicing" KeyboardThis is the BEST KEYBOARD IN THE WORLD!!!!! It is #1. If you want a keyboard. Get this one!
The best keyboard out there! This is honestly the best deal on a keyboard that one can find. The main reason that I purchased it was the fact that the keyboard has 76 full size keys. I have been using this keyboard now for a yaer and half and I consider it one of the best purchases of my life. Some of my favorite features include the ability to record up to 5 songs with 5 tracks plus accompaniment and the backlit display. In addition, the PSRGX76 has a 32-note polyphony which is a major improvement over the older models such as the PSR-48 (it only had 8) that I replaced. In addition the Reverb, DSP and Harmony effects make you music come alive. Trust me, you will not be unhappy with this purchase.
Yamaha PSR-GX76 -- seventy-six hot keysI bought my Yamaha PSR-GX76 through Amazon.com in March of 2001. I use it with my Yamaha DGX-500 and my Compaq Presario personal computer. I consider the PSR-GX76 to be the best keyboard I've ever played and owned.
When I first got my fingers on a PSR-GX76 at my neighborhood Best Buy, I knew that I definitely wanted one, and would settle for nothing less. However, Best Buy had no PSR-GX76 in stock.
I shopped around the neighborhood. I saw a Yamaha DJXII at The Wiz, and a PSR-282 at Circuit City. I decided to order a PSR-GX76 through Amazon.com.
The PSR-GX76 has many awesome features. The 76 keys are just the beginning. I heard through the grapevine that the PSR-GX76 is the only keyboard on Yamaha's PSR line with 76 keys. It has a backlit display, 256 digitally sampled Advanced Wave Memory voices, 10 drum kits, 100 demo songs, a really cool DJ mode, a pitch bend wheel, General MIDI In/Out, plus much more.
If you want a keyboard that not only comes packed with awesome features, but will stand the test of time, a Yamaha PSR-GX76 is the instrument you should buy.
Yamaha PSRGX76 - Great! The Yamaha PSRGX76 was the first portable keyboard I've ever purchased. I was reluctant at first because I wanted an instrument with a weighted action, but I needed portability and a low price - the two do not necessarily go together.
After much research and shopping I decided upon the Yamaha PSRGX76 for two reasons: 1) very good sounds, and 2) 76 keys. It was purchased online , and came with free accessories. I couldn't be happier.
Even though it is rather large, it still is easy to carry around. We've taken it to church several times, and have traveled with it to several missions.
I am very pleased and I would definitely purchase another Yamaha product!
