Great, Durable Drum for Outdoor Events (and indoor!!)I have the 10" Buffalo Drum with Thunder Bird graphic. The drum is easy to hold and beat, and has a voice much larger than it's small size.
It's a great drum to take to outdoor events and festivals, easy to pack in a small amount of space when larger drums are just not practical. It is also constructed of weatherproof, durable materials, so when everyone else is around the fire trying to get their natural skin drums tight enough to play, you're already starting the beat.
Whenever I am going someplace for drumming where I do not feel safe taking my handpainted shaman's drum, the Remo Buffalo Drum is my choice. I actually have another in a larger size, in case I want a deeper sound, but the 10" is more than adequate, and really stands out in the crowd. Like many more costly drums you will find that there are different tone areas on the head ... brighter and higher in the center, and a deeper, booming sound as you approach the rim.
Buy it ... and you'll thank me the first time you find yourself drumming through an unexpected rain shower!
