Product Description

This Appalachian (also called Mountain or Lap Dulcimer) is US made by Folkcraft. It features solid wood construction, an easy-reach 27" fret scale with 18 frets including a 6 1/2, molded nuts and bridges for consistent action, slots for traditional and 4 equidistant string spacing, and high quality geared tuning pegs. It has a two-piece book matched back with an inlay strip. The fingerboard is Maple overlaid with varying exotic woods with matching heel cap.

This model is in the traditional hourglass shape providing clean note definition and good volume and is made of Walnut, with a Classic F Soundhole and a Wenge (dark brown) Fingerboard Overlay. 37" x 6 1/2" x 2"
