6 String Acoustic GuitarReviews
AN EXCELLENT GUITARThis is one the coolest little instruments I've ever played. The short neck allows for some amazing stretches. The tone is somewhere in the realm of guitar-meets-banjo-meets-mandolin-meets-the little South American instrument one hears at the beginning of Simon & Garfunkel's "El Condor Pasa." The soundhole is perfectly placed too, as the bottom end is really powerful and mixes well with the extremely bright, tight tenor strings. If I had any complaint at all it's that the string-tension is quite high, and freting the high "B" and "E" strings at the first fret can be a bit uncomfortable.
The ideal guitar on which to play bluegrass and the introduction to The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want," if indeed that is the song's title (a la The Who's "Baba O'Riley," oft referred to as "Teenage Wasteland").
