Great buy for the priceThese are great little guitars. Same body size and shape as a classical guitar, 1.8" wide nut, which gives you a wider string spacing on the neck and makes it great for fingerstyle playing. SOLID cedar top gives a nice mellow tone (it is, after all, a FOLK guitar). The sides and back are wild cherry wood laminate (layered) with a dark stain. Helps keep the guitar inexpensive and less susceptable to humidity, but still delivers a very nice sound. In the "under $400 range" WITH a solid top this guitar is an excellent value.
