This wind instrument belongs to the pan-pipe family. It is made up of 29 bamboo tubes in 3 rows, with the longest tube measuring 43cm. Introduced by the Inca centuries ago, the zampoña panpipe is frequently played in nearly all the festivities in southern Andes.
